Founded in 2016 by young journalist and fashion editor Gonul
Bayraktar, Sumejja is inspired by mosques’ and domes’ architecture
and traditional motives, reflecting an Islamic texture.
Using the color and design’s harmony with Islamic motives, Sumejja
joined the textile sector with the mission of absolute customer
satisfaction and acts on the vision of spreading and taking root in
Europe and Middle East.
