Strongvillage

I was introduced in the world of fashion design when I joined Project Runway Philippines Season 2 In 2009, right after I graduated from college with a degree of bachelor in interior design. I auditioned in the reality competition without having any formal training in Fashion Design. I basically learned how to sew when I got in the competition. At the end of it all, i was able to finish 2nd place.

2 years later, I joined the longest running and most prestigious design competition in the Philippines (mega young designers competition) and I was able to finally win that.

Since then, I've been doing fashion design NONstop.

In 2018, I established my 2nd clothing brand called Strongvillage. Strongvillage is the LITERAl English translation of my last name, VILLAFUERTE.
