Afterlife knitwear is designed with purpose.

We have tested Afterlife clothing early in the spring in bogs that breathe ice. We have wrapped ourselves in Afterlife's knits after the night swim under the summer stars. We have tasted life in autumn storms and learnt to dream during the long Nordic winter nights.

Ever since, the brand’s vision has been to create beautiful, unique and eco-friendly knitwear.

Exposé

"Exposé" is a sustainable knitwear collection about the connection from a new eco-friendly brand called Story of Afterlife.

We are trying to find out how a person is connected to the clothes. How the clothes are like the burden between intimacy and outer world. We wanted to know what makes the walls to fall. What gives the woman the feeling of fragility, sensuality or braveness. How clothes can create this special allure.

We are consciously using recycled materials to make new Story of Afterlife knits. It’s the everlasting challenge how to create something new while doing less harm. It’s the question of knowing what a woman needs. What inspires her. How to make her fall in love with her clothes, so she won’t feel the need to replace them just for variability. How to sell the products while encouraging the clients to buy less. It's the dialogue between the designer and the muse with the common aim to care about the wilderness.

To start the dialogue we chose 12 inspiring women to test the new knits. To tell us how they are really feeling while wearing them.
