STEPH CUNNINGHAM

A forward thinking, innovative and enthusiastic young designer, Steph has a fresh outlook on fashion and a keen eye for future trends. Having recently gained a first class honours degree in BA Fashion Design, she was selected to showcase her work at London Graduate Fashion Week 2012. The collection illustrated a variety of skills from unique pattern cutting, intricate construction, unusual fabric choices to individual print design.
Over the last four years she has accumulated a wide range of experiences in all areas of fashion design. A talent in pattern cutting has allowed her to develop quirky designs, incorporating striking 3D effects on her garments. A passion for print design is apparent throughout the collection. A one year work placement in Marks and Spencer's Lingerie Design office provided invaluble experience in trend, print and colour forecasting. Working in this area developed an understanding of commercial design, being part of a team and confidence to perform in a competitive environment.
Steph was honoured to be chosen to present her work to Her Majesty the Queen and Prince Phillip as part of their Diamond Jubilee tour. She is now looking foward to the next stage of her career in the fashion industry.
