Born and grown up in Switzerland, Stefanie Jäger first dedicate herself to a financial career as consultant and broker. In 2010 she decided to follow her creative passion and started to study fashion design at the Istituto Marangoni in Milan. Thanks to internships within a ready-to- wear company and an emerging swiss designer, she evolved a sensibility for colors, prints and three dimensional textile structures. This dedication lead to the winning of the "Ratti Group" competition in 2013 and got her a collaboration opportunity to print the textiles of the thesis collection within the company. For her fashion is a way to escape in a fantasy world and to search for beauty in the unusual and overlooked. Her creations are characterized by a rich outlay of prints and juxtapositions of textures combined with sophisticated applications to surprise and amaze.

Latest Collection

La metamorfosi

The collection “La metamorfosi” is inspired by the colourful, compact and complex bodies of leaf beetles. Its aim is to give the little animals, which often are perceived as destructive creatures of the flora, a positive appearance through the created pieces.
Minimalistic silhouettes are combined with vivid, colourful prints and technical textiles. The collection is characterized by its broad variety of handicraft appliqué, which adds a three-dimensional element to the prints. The cuts of the clothes are minimalistic, layered in a surprisingly way, playing with proprotions.
The outfits represent excitement in an imaginative, daring, charming and up-to date way, always on a sophisticated level.
