Miss "Prakotkarn" today and a girl named "Prakotkarn" on that day are completely different. Which, in retrospect of my story, Who was raised to be a boy by the things her father dressed her with at a time. When she discovered a turning point that gave her life the courage to leave what her father wanted her to be, It was when she had entered the “Jumping Castle” for the first time in her life. The first touch on plastic and an independent jumping gesture, Let her know the girl today can't go back to be the boy on that day anymore. “My father’s little boy has ended, Now only the girl’s Prakotkarn is left.”
It inspired me to bring up the story of my life to create this project. With a purpose of presenting my work through contrast between what appeared outside and what I really felt inside in my childhood. By reminiscing my childhood, I recalled how I dressed as a girl and a boy, Then I study children toys. Jumping Castle and plastic property in toys. After that I combine the concept of, knowledge of Jumping Castle, plastic sustainability into a collection “Creative Ready to Wear” by reusing some of the material. There are 4 keywords in the design of the work, which is being “Concealed” as a boy, the “Turning Point” from touching the plastic surface of Jumping Castle and “Imagining” myself as a girl. It caused “Opposites” to be used in this design.
