SSIC AND PAUL

SSIC AND PAUL is Paula Boadas (1986) and Jessica Raya (1978).
The idea of launching a common project arose while studying design and fashion at Felicidad Duce
in Barcelona. After finding they got on really well both creatively and personally, they decided to create a brand together in 2010. They graduated in 2012.
Their first presentation was at MODAFAD in the 080 Barcelona Fashion at the January 2013 edition. That same year they participated in the catwalk and showroom EGO Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid in February 2013, where they presented their first collection for autumn / winter 2013-14. In the month of July 2013 participated in the 080 Barcelona showroom, and in September in the showroom of Samsung EGO Madrid. This November 2013 they have been invited to parade as emerging designers at the Fortuny Granada fashion show. Likewise at the next Shopping night Barcelona they are involved, designing the styling for a Valkyrie and one for a dancer inspired by Wagner's opera .
They presented their third collection for autumn/winter 2014-15 in catwalk of the 080 Barcelona Fashion at the January 2014 edition.
This tandem of designers is defined by the combination of creativity and functionality with a very contemporary style, not to mention a strong taste for artisanship. A special mimicry reflected in every detail of their collections. The philosophy of the brand is to create collections "made in Barcelona", always with quality fabrics with great attention to details and finishes (French seams), always investigate the patterns, overlays the clothes and the volumes not forgetting the essence of the brand that is pure lines and straight silhouettes. Always a minimalist style, ivory color present in all collections and seeking different point between the handcraft or recycling.
