Sqotchio's owner/designer William crighton has since graduating in 1989 from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art,Dundee and following this at St.Martins School of Art,London included many creative strings to his bow.Establishing his own Textiles studio in 1992 whereupon he participated in many Trade Shows globally showcasing his constantly evolving collections each season,many lucrative commissions for Galleries in the UK and abroad.Working as a Senior Designer for a well known Print studio from it's inception and working for a UK retailer creating their seasonal colour palettes,fabric and print trends as part of the Design Team.Travelling globally each season to then create his own Colour Concepts for a wider audience.With over 25 years experience in the textile industry Sqotchio has been created as the next adventure!

Sqotchio

Sqotchio was established in August 2016 showcasing the first collection for A/W2017 in January.Now into our second Season we are participating at Premiere Classe,Paris Porte de Versailles and Tuileries shows.
We create Art on Fabric including a variety of imagery,motifs,multi-media and photography not necesarily following seasonal trends just hinting with Colour and fabrication.This includes Cashmere and wools for Winter and Silks and Linens for Spring,for S/S2018 we are introducing a Woven Collection of over sized scarfs and shawls constructed and woven in Belgium by a 5th generation weaver near Bruges.These unique pieces include blends of Alpaca,Silk,Metallic thread and Linen.In the main our collection comprises printed pieces but we are constantly looking and developing new ideas so with this in mind we will be including a small collection of embroidered scarves for our A/W 2018 Collection.
