The brand was founded in 2013 by British textile designer Keren McConnell who has spent many years working as a freelance print designer for a leading range of high end and high street fashion companies in Europe and the US. She launched Siskin London to fulfill a long-held ambition to create a brand synonymous with bold, beautiful and British scarves.

What differentiates Siskin London from other scarf brands is that each design starts as an original ink painting on paper, before being digitally printed onto high quality silk crepe de chine and finished with hand rolled hems by highly skilled seamstresses. Every part of the process from design to production is carried out in the UK.

The company is named after the Siskin - a cute, brightly coloured native British bird spotted in large numbers in Keren’s North London garden while she was designing the collection.
