As a generation, I believe we are ready for “more”.
I am intrigued by the possibility of the future of fashion being beyond fabric in its conventional sense. A paradigm shift that will take place not only in our views of fashion but also our wardrobes. By breaking boundaries and being adaptive towards new technology.
This collection lies at the intersection of fashion, art and technology;
a syzygy of exploring materials, 3d printing and fractal geometry.
transcending textile through technology.
Blurring the lines between wearable art and ready to wear.
I was inspired by The forms we see around us that seem unique yet vaguely familiar. The rough edges of ferns and snowfalkes, branching out of trees, the spiral formations in shells and succulents, oscillations of a star, rings of Saturn and so on are all examples of fractals. Fractals are self- similar structures that remain the same at every scale. They are known as the rebel of math. every individual component of the structures creates the same shape as the whole. Thus making an unending paradox.
