Simon Ekrelius, born in Sweden and based in London, is an independent womenswear designer with a focus on lines, dimensions, texture and constructions.

The Simon Ekrelius leitmotif, both architectural and naturalistic, is clear throughout all his collections, in the way he draws the lines - the subtly asymmetrical combined with symmetrical cuts. They confidently span the continuum between directional street and evening wear.

His unique style and vision can be seen throughout his work, with recurring themes which Simon himself describes as "futuristically bohemian and architecturally inspired". Modern Art, Art-Deco buildings and the early Avant-Garde woman (as well as Tilda Swinton, Georgia Jagger, Devon Aoki and Grace Coddington) provide endless supplies of inspiration for Ekrelius.

Ekrelius' collections are all made in the UK from first idea to finished product, proud to support English workmanship and to keep the production close for control and quality.

The designer's work has been published in British Glamour, Schon Magazine, S Magazine, StyleNoir, British Vogue, Fault Magazine, Dazed, Valstrom, ELLE Japan, Glass and many more
