With my collection called executive dominance I’m showing a range of looks where classical tailoring and lingerie are merged. The base of my collection is substantiated by a hint of sophisticated bondage that allows the wearer to feel powerful and yet very feminine. The looks include corset-like elements that enhance this inner dominant feeling.  

Executive Dominance is inspired by classical tailoring and John Willie’s The Art of Sophisticated Bondage. Even though I didn’t have a chance to meet my grandpa he has been a big source of inspiration to me. He was a master tailor and had his own business back in the days. He succeeded numerous courses in pattern making. His course books and pattern drawing notebooks were the starting point for my collection. John Willie’s The Art of Sophisticated Bondage is full of illustrations, cartoons and photo’s made by John Alexander Scott Coutts, better known as John Willie. The sophisticated way he portrayed the characters inspired me to take the step and incorporate lingerie in my collection. This also led to the general feel that became dominant, yet very classic and feminine.
