Sia Rosenberg

Sia Rosenberg is The Founder of Molenbeek Manufacturing - a BRUSSELS based production facility for small scale fashion production. From Molenbeek Manufacturing she also presents her namesake label consisting of unique and HANDMADE designs.

Sia rosenberg is a modern designer, in the sense that she is concerned with the impact her designs have on the world and on the people for whom she designs. While having a strong conceptual mind-set, she is deeply rooted in the tradition of craft and technical knowhow as a core method for creative development in parallel with the body and the haptic. Thereby movement, tactility and overall sensorial qualities are core to her work. Through her strong craftsmanship, she explores contemporary issues of gender, age and design longevity and thus her design supports a nuanced, yet approachable, view on fashion – working towards diversity of how we see ourselves in modern society.
