Shriya Khanna is an experimental and innovative textile/surface driven Luxury Pret brand for women based in Delhi, India. The garments/creations are made using new age technology and are a visual representation of characteristics that the designer finds most alluring and beautiful in a piece of art (the inspiration).

Shriya Khanna graduated from NIFT, Chennai and FIT, New York with the ‘Best Creative & Innovative Designer’ Award in 2018 after which she worked with renowned designers in New York and India. A winner of the prestigious Gennext program by FDCI x LFW; she launched her eponymous label with her debut collection at Lakme Fashion week in 2022.

Entwined Poetry

Luxury prét collection for women, inspired by 'Peter Collingwood's Macrogauze' (woven textile pieces). Key words: delicate, layered, geometric, monochromatic & graphic. The collection is texture driven with base fabrics like silk organza, raw silk, novelty organza & novelty satin. Techniques used: ombre dyeing/sublimation printing, layers of digitally cut fabrics sewn together, fabric scraps heat fused onto fabric - creating geometric patterns, cut-word by hand, cotton cords - couched onto fabric and re-couched with silk threads to create irate-like textiles inspired by Peter Collingwood's intricate patterns.

‘Entwined Poetry’ is inspired by Peter Collingwood’s Macrogauze (woven textile pieces). His woven pieces were made using delicate monochromatic yarns that crossed over to create interesting shapes and intricate graphical patterns. The same quality has been interpreted in the form of surface texture in the collection.
