Shaofen

Based in Malaysia, Shaofen attained her Bachelors degree in Womenswear at London College of Fashion. The concepts behind her collections are inspired by subjects whom we overlook in our daily lives, and also, abstract art. In her graduate collection, she has explored the concept of wearing shapes and the fragile aspect of it. Playing around with variations of scale in shapes which informed her pattern cutting with angular edges and open panels. A combination of playfulness mixed with feminine elements is present within her garments, along clean cuts which also reflects her personal identity.
