In the future dystopian world there are people who are only impressed by the idea of high technology and are completely ignorant about how the life they’re leading is low. How the cables of technology show them a virtual reality of a beautiful world but how in real they’re entangling them a toxic life of lie. The technology that solves a problem also creates new that we werent aware of before. Like the smallest example of a tv remote. Its purpose was to solve a problem. But its not doing that. With the ability to switch channels from where you are sitting... you’re always dissatisfied with the channel you’re on.

There are other people who belong to the cyberpunk sub- culture. These people are revolting against this idea of high tech and low life. Against the technological mutations.
And connecting them both is the corruption prevailing in that world.

That is one of the reason why I wanted to highlight the diy aspect through safety pin. Because in this world the rate of technological development is so high that the essence of hand made has wandered away.
