SHADES.OF.TRUE endeavours to create handcrafted luxury garments that are uniquely artisan in terms of technique, materials and process.

Fine handwork techniques and the resulting texture is often times the source of the garment which unfolds organically, in a non linear way on the 3D form. Therefore a core aspect of each piece is the interplay between texture and form and the process of ‘unfolding’ and labored handwork are central to the design code.

Through the use of innovative couture craft techniques and a signature organic method of construction, it is the intention to imbue each garment with something that cannot be rendered through mechanical or industrial means: a textured symphony that emerges from the human touch.
