Scott Johnston is a fashion student of the University of Sussex, currently in his third year. Scott has a back ground in hairdressing for Rush Hair and Beauty, He has worked along side the Rush Artistic Team for 9 years. He has also worked with photographers Ram Shergill and John Rawson.

Scott has many interests, including fashion, art, theatre and exhibitions. He enjoys spending time with creative and inspirational people.

He has also styled the clothes for a couple of photo shoots.

Once Scott leave's University he hopes to work for a high end fashion label with the opportunity to work his way up and learn the business inside out. Eventually he would like to set up his own fashion label, creating his own designs and inspiring others along the way.

Apocalyptic Couture

In fashion, art and design it is sometimes the ideas formed quietly in the shadows; that can grow and change the way I see things completely. In this collection I dive deep into the DNA of Scott Johnston to provoke a new artistic vision, that comes out of the darkness like a lot of my inspiration.

Taking inspiration from the solar eclipse, its rarity, precision and dark edged beauty where darkness takes over the light. skin and fabric becomes one and fall into the shadows where image, silhouette and textures deepen and a new aesthetic reaches out from the dark. Embracing this as a new ecstatic, I will evolve in the way I see fashion not only as clothes but as works of art - This is Apocalyptic Couture, this is Scott Johnston.
