I am a new graduate from the Institute of Fashion-Design in Basel.
I am very interested in experimenting with materials and technology in and around fashion. I like to try and bring different things together and create Fabrics and garments out of unexpected places.

Latest Collection

LUX

The dancing lights of a Ship on the water surface in the Hamburger Hafen, provided me with the first flash of inspiration for my collection.
The garments are derived from seamens knots, wrapped around a body. The Knots were then transformed into garments with topes and light acting as part of the garments and accessories at the same time. The light spells out my name troughout the collection. The letters SI L V A N O are lighted with LEDs and the Ropes are lighted with electroluminecsent cables.

The collection was an experiment in pattern making and technology in clothes. The focus was on experimentation and concept, which is also the path I would love to follow for my future.
