I’M A NUMBER NOT A NAME deals with the relationship between fashion, space and the body and examines the boundaries between physical and virtual spaces using the concept of virtuality according to Gilles Deleuze. The main design element is the pleat as a structure that creates space both on the body and in space. Based on the theories of Gilles Deleuze, in which the pleat is used as an analogy for the definition of virtuality, the pleat is used in the collection to develop the connection between fashion, space and the body. It uses AI to challenge the traditional dichotomy of fashion and body and presents itself in an audio-visual installation that creates a virtual replica of the physical space. The installation emphasizes the relationship between the physical and virtual space and highlights the importance of the body as a connection that remains essential.
