SARA MIRZA

Sara Mirza, co-founder and creative director of Sara Mirza, was educated at Ryerson University School of Fashion, in Toronto, Canada. She had been passionate about fashion since early childhood. She emerged to the fashion industry at the age of 17 with her first collection and ever since has been active in the Canadian/Iranian fashion industry.
Ali Mirza, co-founder and CEO of Sara Mirza, was educated at the University of Ottawa’s Telfer School of Management in the fields of Finance and Marketing. He has a background in Investment Banking, Portfolio Management, and Real Estate development; however his passion has always been the fashion industry.
The siblings decided to make their life-long dream a reality and founded Mirza Fashion House.
Poetry and storytelling are the essences of sara mirza pieces.
Each garment is envisioned to be worn by an exceptional woman. Then, sara mirza writes a poem describing that woman and what she is doing.
The poems are usually narrated by a third person who is watching her in admiration.
