As an artist, Lim has always been thinking about our society and a system. Born in South Korea, Lim had served in an army for 2 years. While Lim was serving, He was confronting North Koreans at the border, Watching how an ideology and a system could divide people.
After graduating with his bachelor(industrial design), Lim had moved to New York and earned his MFA degree at the Fashion Institute of Technology 2020 to pursue his future career as a fashion designer.
