I spent years there working long days for a fast fashion company.
My reflections led me to explore ancestral biotechnology.

The following years have been spent traveling the world to source knowledge from the many Indigenous communities in Asia and Latin America.
Peru enchanted me with her richness of traditional material and textile techniques.
I invested years researching ancestral techniques and developing formulas to process natural and renewable resources such as leathers from the Amazonian Paiche fish and the Shiringa wild rubber tree. SAKE was born.

As a sustainable fashion brand, Sake became aware of all the steps and processes in creating most of the materials used.

Nature and cultural traditions are integral to our present and future well-being, we can either ignore or embrace their bounty with thoughtful innovation.
