SAHAR JABERIAN, hailing from Tehran, an alumna of Istituto Marangoni Paris, is a fashion designer who is challenging and pushing the boundaries of Tehran’s fashion scene with her evolving and communicative designs in both womenswear and menswear.

Sahar is immersed in the vibrant and complex tapestry of Iran, drawing from its paradoxes, struggles, and moments of joy to weave narratives through her collections. Her creative process thrives on collaboration with fellow artists, infusing her stories with a multidimensional essence.

FYAB

"FYAB" embarks on an emotional journey, unfurling a powerful narrative of resilience and transformation. The message is boldly embroidered onto the garments: “F Your Abortion Ban,” a resonating cry that echoes in the hearts of Iranian women and transcends borders where abortion remains illegal.

Beyond the garments themselves, which serve as the materialization of my artistic vision, I joined forces with choreographers, dancers, a music composer, makeup artist, videographer, and photographer to delve into the depths of emotions. This collaborative effort aims to not only forge a strong collective identity but also to carve out a fleeting space of freedom.

Our visual installation and clothing pieces seek to evoke the myriad emotions experienced by women during pregnancy and abortion, validating their feelings of anxiety and depression as essential channels for care and healing.
