REINEREN

The Spring Summer 2022 collection continues the consistent modernity factor REINEREN has aimed to achieve. The theme of “SUMMER ESCAPE” is inspired by research into the ’Behavioural Characteristics of Urban Young People‘. The notion of being “busy” has evolved into a sense of normality in the lives of modern young people while the sense of loneliness and a yearning for a better quality of life is increasing. This season REINEREN is focusing on a colour palette inspired by blending together natural blues, greens, yellows, white and elements of black allowing REINEREN to explore the divide between the natural and urban.

Designer Ren Qian found inspiration for the Spring/Summer 22 collection within a vision of a mysterious island surrounded by the sea. She saw the REINEREN girl stepping out on the black sand, dressed in a chic garment and styled by mimicking the rippling water. The audience is exposed to a figure with a more independent, courageous and resolute attitude.

The chic and timely design profile celebrates line details, fishnet weaves, glossy organic folds, an interactive tie of the neckline and the cutting of holes. While staying true to their signature use of sleek leathers and metal, REINEREN finds an innovative and vivid new design direction that seeks to inspire freedom and spontaneity.

This season also focuses on sustainable sourcing. The SS22 collection incorporates the use of lyocell fibre. Manufactured in Sateri, lyocell fibre is made from internationally certified plantations. Fibre production uses an environmentally friendly and closed production process. The products are biodegradable and beautifully interpret this season's inspiration of ‘returning to nature’.

Through the mix and match of specially selected fabrics and texture accessories, fashion transforms itself into a form of self-awakening. Every girl who wears REINEREN is a POWER WOMAN.
