RAPHAELLEHLIMI

Raphaëlle H’ Limi was born in 1980 in Paris. Her passion for the plastic arts and fashion made her to integrate a formation into the ESAA Duperré then to study in Brussels (ENSAV La Cambre). She came over, during her studies, in
the creation studios of Christian Dior, Yvan Mispelaere, Sharon Wauchob and Martin Grant.
In 2006, she obtained a Master’s degree in Fashion Creation of the IFM in Paris. This diploma drove her in Bologna in Italy where she integrated Emilio Pucci’s creative team supervised by Matthew Williamson. She stayed there on one year as junior designer for the accessory.
She returned to La Cambre for two years to develop her first complete collections. The collection PLAY THE GAME pre- sented in June, 2010 in Brussels marks the beginning of her creative brand and make her win in December the « Grand Prix de la Création » of Paris.
Raphaëlle H’ Limi’s style is articulated around the pushed research for a graphic, feminine and funda- mentally modern silhouette. A look where structure, geometry and architecture are essential. Clothes where the folding and the origami take a particular importance to create new volumes. Her inspirations are coming from various artistic movements such as Arte Povera and contemporary installations.
