R. Youell is a modern luxury lifestyle fashion brand designed with the utmost degree of craftsmanship. Made and manufactured in New York City, every single thread, seam, and garment is constructed to personify the inherent notions of sophistication, minimalism, and timeless style.

In particular, inspiration is drawn from the contemporary art world, Bauhaus architecture, and the rich earth tones of rural Virginia. By juxtaposing tradition with modernism, simplicity with complexity, and organic foundations with industrial principles, R. Youell is more than a mere clothing brand, but an all-encompassing lifestyle that yearns to bridge cultural divides, shift paradigms, and unify humanity through art and design.

Reflect

As is the case with each and every one of my collections, "Reflect" features a literary and photography narrative that details the evolution of an individual assimilating and acclimating to his/her new environment. In particular, four unique chapters to such a story take place: 1.) Assimilate (An individual--upon entering a new environment--neither wants to stand out nor be different from his/her environment. Rather, they yearn to blend in. As such, the clothing in such a chapter features clean lines and sharp architectural backdrops, 2.) Rebel (Upon assimilating, the individual then seeks to rebel from the environment and become the antithesis of his location. As such, these particular garments are oversized, feature draping, and contrast in color), 3.) Observe (After rebelling, the observes even more closely and realizes that everyone around him/her is also attempting to be "unique;" therefore, the conclusion is made that we are all monotonous beings. The clothing in this chapter is therefore focused upon details), and 4.) Proceed (Upon observing, the individual simultaneously comes to the conclusion that although all individuals are attempting to be "unique beings," no one can henceforth replicate his/her own journey. Therefore, the concluding garment--the "Never be like Them" jacket-- showcases that no one can truly be you).
