Quentin Langlet is a french born designer. After his studies in Fine Arts in Lyon, he entered the Geneva University of Art and Design for 3 years. There he received a diploma in Fashion Design and Accessories. Sometime between the art and design by using performance, the body is always at first place. During his last year at the GUAD, Quentin found his own way on pattern cutting, using repetition and faux-semblant to create his two last collections. Using his life as first inspiration, he speaks about love and being together, being a couple. A very large concept that he uses to do menswear, Quentin Langlet love to speak about feelings and find shapes to create emotional clothes with strong stories. That personal way of creating patterns, he would like to make it stronger and stronger in doing a master and maybe, finally in launching his own label.

YOURS ♡ about love

Yours is a story about love, about to embrace and bodies that mix together. It is about that feeling that everyone can experiment between complete happiness and cruelty. Pleasure, Excitation, Sensuality. The lovers dance and play. The desire makes them inseparable and they share that experience. The clothes reveal poetic garments and duality. The patterns, as complex as the subject, try to define that kind of love with sobriety and emotion. The inspirations could be extreme like the artists Genesis P-Orridge and Lady Jaye or more sensitive like Klimt, but the beginning of my collections is "how I can turn my life into art and design". How my life can be worn be strangers because maybe, we are experimenting with the same feelings.
