INSIPIRATION : The collection is highly inspired from Yangzom Brauen’s book "Across Many Mountains”a triumphant tale of three generations of Tibetan women as they journey from Tibet to Switzerland. Powerful, emotional memoir and an extraordinary portrait of three generations of Tibetan women whose lives are forever changed when Chairman Mao’s red army crushes Tibetan independence, sending a young mother and her six-year-old daughter on a treacherous journey across the snowy Himalayas toward freedom. This collection is an amalgamation of the Tibetian culture along the lines of modernism. It boldly speaks of the Tibetans who believe in preserving their dying culture and language in their everyday life as they live through an age of political, geographical and cultural crises.

FABRIC & SILHOUETTES : Silhouettes are inspired from the Tibetan clothing along with the usage of silk and wool fabric drawn from the Tibtan dressing. moreover, the floral pattern has been produced by blending the patchwork technique molding it into the traditional tibetan way in order to create an innovative look for the tibetans. use of floral pattern (symbolic of freshness and rejuvanation) is also an honest effort to offer the tibetans a fresh breath of freedom. that would provide them a sense of peaceful belonging towards their unfortunate land.gold has been embraced with the garments as a typical tibetan jewel. also, an attempt to closely connect the women community to their wealthy tradition, which thanks to the chinese infilteration, would soon be forgotten by the suffering young tibetan women across the globe.

COLOUR : the colour palette is primarily based on the warm tibetan colours - bright, vivid and energetic. these full of life colours represent the tibetan kindness, boldness, faith and passion for their religion.
