PONYO PORCO is a hand-drawn print label founded by the designer duo Lupa and Larry in 2015. Their specialties and expertise in different fields are combined to create unique and diverse products. PONYO PORCO is named after the axolotls of the founders. The logo comprising their asymmetric images signifies the difference and harmony among individuals, which is also a symbolization of the concept of PONYO PORCO.
The head designer Crystal Lupa was graduated from Central Saint Martins womenswear in London.During the years in London, she has been interning at some designer studios such as Alexander Mcqueen , Belle Sauvage , Christopher Kane. Lupa creates her artworks through a wide variety of materials and media in the form of paintings, illustrations, sculptures, fashion, or music; always with a touch of dark fantasy, magic realism and allegorical narration.
