PO-EMIC is a jewelry/accessory brand founded by Luwei Misa Wang in 2020 and currently based in Brooklyn, New York. PO-EMIC stands for “Post”, “Poetic” and “Emic”. The philosophy of design will be exploring the roots of Asian culture and merging youthful, edgy aesthetic.
Misa is originally from Shanghai, China. She completed her study of Fashion Design at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. After graduated, Misa went on work with Chrishabana and delivered several projects with the team for Nicki Minaj, Erykah Badu, Lil Nas X, and Doja Cat. She moved forward with her jewelry career at COACH then started her own line. Her personal work has been published in PAPER Magazine, LADYGUNN Magazine, and Not Just A Label.
