Playita Ibiza was launched by two siblings in May 2016 with the aim to offer a sustainable and long lasting brand for the beach textile industry. Offering a wide color range of high quality hand-loomed textile (not printed), Playita Ibiza's first European Summer Season has been overwhelming, with press coverage such as ELLE Magazine or Harpers Bazaar UK. The brand is meant not only for the beach, but also for home decor. It has been said that our Roundies and Loungies are the perfect must-have accessory for anyone that appreciates the balance between quality/design and believes in fair trade work ethics (produced in Turkey by looming experts using the best cotton).

LIFETIME COLLECTION

SS16 COLLECTION
Playita Ibiza's first collection is inspired on kilim motifs. Kilims are flat tapestry woven carpets or rugs produced in Anatolia to represent stories or memories through their many motifs. We have combined 4 different symbols to express the essence of our first beach blanket collection: Su Yolu (running water), Kocboynuzu (Ram's horn), Sacbagi (Hair Band) and Bereket (fertility). Our aim is to inspire our customers with the sequence of the true meaning of life, the desire for immortality, the heroism and the aspiration to find true love. All these symbols put together conceive the beautiful pattern of Playita Ibiza's SS16 collection.
