Pushing the potential of ourselves and our natural resources, PHOEBE ORMAN was founded upon an alternative approach to design that focuses on restoring our world by recognising our role in nature and understanding how we can maintain a responsible presence on Earth by working with what the environment has to offer. The brands philosophy is deeply rooted within its self-sufficient and mindful processes that demonstrate the authenticity of its approach. With a profound fascination in materials, PHOEBE ORMAN explores resourceful methods working closely with natural materials which influences the organic structures and aesthetic across the designs.

RAW BEAUTY

RAW BEAUTY was based around understanding our role in nature, and how this role is not being maintained within the dynamics of our modern existence. The collection addresses how we must consciously intervene and recognise that we have an important role in maintaining balance on Earth, exploring viable solutions such as regenerative based practice. Regeneration is about healing the system and participating appropriately to create a healthy environment for a healthy planet. The difference between sustainable and regenerative practice is that a sustainable approach has no further impact on the environment whereas regenerative goes beyond this neutral point and restores aspects of the global system that have been disrupted.
Inspired by the ‘RAW BEAUTY’ of natural materials, the collection is centred around the idea of sustaining a healthy relationship with the Earth by working around what the environment has to offer, using only animal based materials as they can be produced responsibly as part of a regenerative system. With a well established design process and firmly embedded values, PHOEBE ORMAN works by hand, incorporating resourceful and mindful processes to limit impact on the environment.
