Patafisic design studio founded its independent knitwear label in 1996 in Florence. The Collections were distributed in selected stores from 1996 to 2012, attending Paris fashion week. After a break designer Brenda Cecchi launched the new project of hand knitting, one of a kind knits, and Patafisic Heritage Drops from upcycled fine yarns.
Since 2002 She teaches knitwear design and sustainable knitwear design in art and fashion schools. Currently based in Berlin.

BOOK #4 JOE AND I

A Serie of one of a kind knits hand made from upcycled fine yarns. The Black Serie are knit pieces inspired by the spider making its own web every time different. Tutti Frutti are the color block knits inspired by the mix of Berlin's people and the designer's geometrical approach. The process of making this unique pieces is very accurate and long. Book #4 collects Random Knit and Heritage, remade pieces from our Archive collections like the Classical Tube sweater with hand crochet stitchings. Thanks to the collaboration with model/artist Joe.
