ORAÏK

ORAÏK came to life as a collaboration between Elvira Golombosi (Slovakia) and Hector Lasso (Colombia). We met during our master studies at gemstone and jewellery department in Idar-Oberstein, Germany. After graduation we decided to work together and currently we are based in Ibiza, Spain.

We are inspired by ancient cultures in which jewellery was not a mere adornment, but rather a magical item endowed with supernatural powers. Our fascination comes from the realm of dreams and imagination. It is an inexhaustible source of archetypal motives and images that transcend ages and cultures. We employ the unconscious as a visionary and creative force. ORAÏK pieces are companions that support, enhance and empower the wearer.

All process of making, starting from sculpting the models in wax until the finished piece, happens in our studio.

We put great care into every piece to achieve a unique and individual character. By combining the traditional techniques of goldsmiths with the tools of today, we create a harmonic dialogue between ancient and contemporary craftsmanship.

The use of natural materials are essential for ORAÏK . Gold and natural gemstones possess inimitable aesthetic and symbolic value.
