Simrita is a Fashion and Textile Designer. Specialising in Creative pattern cutting and tailoring, Her works are construction based, which act as a tool to embed meaning into garments. She has A minimalistic approach to designing detailed garments with meaning embedded that signifies something, means something to the wearer.
Inspired by values and significance attached to traditional garments, Simrita Dass hopes to provide wearers and consumers of fashion, a more experiential journey through their garments in contemporary styles. Her other interests include playing the piano, travelling and learning about different cultures.

One.0 is inspired by the idea of ways of wearing and seeing. Realised through the integration of design thinking and creative cutting.It explores how one garment can be seen and worn in more than one particular defined way, different from conventional garments that often have specific ways in which they are defined.The collection comprises universal garments incorporating within them the concept of modularity. Where modularity, does not only provide multi-ways of dressing but also the ability to dress multiple different body types. In a world where people express themselves majorly through clothes, however not so much, these garments allow for personalisation through individual interpretation of them.
