Sílvia Cotrim was born in stockholm and lived there until the family moved back to portugal, in her teen years.
While living in Portugal she graduated in Architecture at the Lusíada university in Lisbon.
after her graduation, she moved to Berlin for nearly two years, where she enrolled in jewellery studies.
In 2014 she founded her own jewellery label 'om d'eon' based in lisbon.
Being trained as an architect developed her sensitivity for working with forms, materials and proportions.
Working in jewellery design is a natural and intuitive progression of career, allowing her to keep exploring and create minimalist objects of balanced compositions.
Currently she lives and works in lisbon.
