Olooh is a fashion brand founded in 2018 by Kader DIABY a 26-year-old Ivorian photographer known for his poetic images, which have been featured in numerous fashion magazines and ad campaigns.
Kader DIABY trained as a photographer with the Klaym organization, in collaboration with the University of the arts in Zurich. Before that, he graduated in management control and audit in Rabat Morocco, and he now works as an auditor for a multinational firm in Abidjan.
Kader DIABY started designing outfits for his photoshoots in 2017, learning sewing techniques from his mother, a trained seamstress.
Focusing on modernist, unisex clothing cut in organic fabrics, Kader DIABY has his clothes handcrafted in the Ivory Coast, Meaning “our” in Kader DIABY’s native Senufo language, Olooh is a vast aesthetic project that
will soon include accessories, furniture, and skincare.

Sanou ( the golden age )

“Sanou” the golden age
Between the 1960s and 1980s, Côte d'Ivoire was the hub of West Africa, it was the golden age of Côte d'Ivoire. It was distinguished by its architecture, its elegance, its art scene and the know-how of its craftsmen.
This collection is a projection of Ivory Coast shortly. A future where Ivoirians learn to value this golden heritage that has been bequeathed to them. This collection of spencer, quilted jacket, quilted trousers, bustier, and skirt is inspired by the architectural lines of this period.
The clothes are a mixture of Wax Vlisco and organic linen dyed by women in the commune of Treichville in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, decorated with buttons and bronze buckles made at the craft center of Grand-Bassam, Ivory Coast and leather accessories made in Treichville, Abidjan.
Apart from the fact that this collection is inspired by Côte d'Ivoire, the message it conveys is addressed to this African youth eager for change and aware that change comes through it.
