Oiu Oiu

Oiu Oiu – Personal Knitwear combines textile design and the traditional craft of knitting with coding and digital technologies. Each piece is knitted made to order in Switzerland.
The collection consists of carefully concepted contemporary textile designs that are able to change in relation to the consumer’s input. The patterns are unique to a chosen name or date. The colors can be selected from a set
of seasonal colors, which allows a myriad of possible color combinations.

Oiu Oiu (formerly Sally Mellony) is the Knitwear brand of Swiss designer Salome Rinderknecht.
Since graduating from the Zurich University of the Arts in Visual Communication, she has been working for various agencies and her own clients in Zurich. In 2011 she founded Sally Mellony and in 2012 a label for knitted socks, Stereo Socks, followed. In 2019 she attained a degree as a Knitwear Specialist from Swiss Textile College.
