“Objet petit a” is a niche lingerie label created by an up-and-coming designer Tereza svolikova. Based on an ongoing process of research and experimentation, Tereza’s small-edition collections focus on selection of delicate fabrics, work with colour and various decorative details. She creates an intimate world full of tactile, visual and fragrant stimuli where she explores the ways to caress all senses. All fabrics are dyed exclusively with natural pigments that are derived from raw botanical ingredients. As the title referencing Jacques Lacan’s psychoanalytical theory suggests, her products symbolize the unrepeatable individuality of a human being, the beauty of a passing moment and, most importantly, the vanishing Object of desire.

- MATERIALS & TECHNOLOGY -

Based on an ongoing process of experimentation, Tereza follows the ancient methods of using plants for fabric-dyeing. Special attention is paid to selection of delicate materials such as silk or other fabrics of natural origin. All fabrics are dyed exclusively with natural pigments that are derived from raw botanical ingredients like herbs, vegetable skins or wood. Each color shade is preceded by many experiments, so the resulting shade depends on the intensity of the dyeing extract and may differ each time. Therefore, the colour of a piece is allways one-of-a-kind.
