Nynne-Joline G. Giversen is an Danish fashion designer currently living in Copenhagen. She is a recent graduate from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design (KADK).
Her conceptual design is following an intuitive path between ready to wear and avangarde. In her works she is often preoccupied of human emotions and progress, how to compensate, find ways to fit in society aswell as stand up to personal vulnerability and allowing it to be visual in fashion and life. She is a free but serious spirit as a designer and person. She is very grounded in her design-work and love being in the process. She likes to examine her ideas and find ways to let people in to her universe by drawings, photos and sculpturel works. Nynne-Joline values her clothes to be pleasant to wear with a good fitting, nice finish and made out of materials, that feels luxurious towards your body and imagination. She combines different styles in periods and ethnicity, plays with materials exemplarily from furnishing, colours and dimensions trying to catch an exact feeling or event. The rule for her is that everything is possible and allowed but it has to end up being personal and classy.
Nynne-Joline’s graduation collection is an exploration of personal style and it is a statement for Nynne-Joline’s believe in style over fashion.

"Nynnesk" (Nynneish)

Nynnesk is Nynne-Joline’s MA graduation collection from the Royal Danish Academi of Fine Arts, School of Design. The collection “Nynnesk” is a exploration of personal style and it is a statement for Nynne-Joline’s believe in style over fashion, that personal style is very important and that we should dress according to our mood, dreams and personality instead of what the magazines or social society tells or expect of us. Instead she hopes to invite people to have fun with fashion for a more individual and therefor more meaningful expression.
In her works Nynne-Joline is often preoccupied of human emotions and progress, how to compensate, find ways to fit in society aswell as stand up to personal vulnerability and allowing it to be visual in fashion and life. Why not be aware of how to use fashion to stimulate yourself to be on top of the situation, showing who you are, want to be and build up your own style?

By equality it is important for Nynne-Joline to contribute to a more human fashion industry. She wants it to turn from trivial and elusive to meaningful and personal starting within the fashion industry itself by valuing every member in the chain as a beginning.
