Hanane ELGHEZOUANI, a resident in the Netherlands and a mother of two, pursued a Bachelor's degree in Geography and History at Ibn Tofail University in Kenitra, Morocco. Despite her initial dreams of attending art school, societal expectations led her to a different path. However, her passion for art never waned. With the support of her husband, she embarked on a remarkable journey as a designer, creating unique leather bags inspired by the rich cultural heritage of Morocco, particularly the captivating mosaics found throughout the country. Her bags bear the signature mosaic designs, showcasing Moroccan heritage on high-quality Italian leather.

Although Hanane's creations are profoundly influenced by Moroccan culture, she currently collaborates with Italian artisans for production. Her ultimate goal is to work with Moroccan artisans, contributing to the conservation and promotion of the mosaic art that represents Morocco on a global stage. Through her work, Hanane aims to showcase her pride in Moroccan history and heritage and calls for greater support from authorities to help designers embrace and preserve African cultural heritage.

In summary, Hanane ELGHEZOUANI's journey led her from geography and history studies to becoming a successful designer with a focus on preserving Moroccan cultural heritage through her exquisite leather bags adorned with mosaic-inspired designs. With a deep sense of pride and determination, she strives to promote this art globally and hopes for increased support from authorities to empower creators in preserving African cultural legacies.
