In this project I chose the sea as my story, out of fear and great curiosity for the subject.
From a young age I was afraid of the sea, I was afraid of its tremendous powers, its unfathomable size and the creatures it hides in its expanses.
During research, I discovered new details and data about the sea that surprised and interested me and made me sink into the subject even more than before. I learned that our oceans cover more than 71% of the Earth's surface and more than 80% of the ocean's surface has never been explored, mapped or observed by mankind.
The sea hides within it many creatures whose power and purpose we do not know, hides colors and shapes that we haven't even seen and hides unimaginable depths (more than the height of Mount Everest!).
My project deals with my emotions and feelings around the sea, between the awe, and the incessant curiosity and its beauty that attracts me to continue and deepen my knowledge about what is hidden in it.
The designs I created describe my being in a hostile and unfamiliar environment in the depths of the sea, my imagination and fantasy describing what I would need if I were to reach these hidden places. Between the paralyzing fear and the wild imagination of what I see and feel in such a different and new environment.

Working with different technologies in 3D printing, I was able to create my fantasies in a tangible and physical way. The shapes I imagine, the colors I see when I close my eyes and the combination between the fabric, the body and the different materials.
