NO PAIR OF US is an independent Fashion Textiles label releasing one of a kind and limited edition collections of wearable art. Believing in slow fashion and using various forms of fabric manipulation such as felting, weaving and fabric dyeing each piece is created to express the personality of the user as well as the inherent character of the elements that comprise it.
Designer Andrea Giralt-Brun was trained as a journalist at The New School of New York but soon after graduating she realized that writing was not her only form of artistic expression. In 2012 she moved to Houston where she worked with Project Runway winner and designer Chloe Dao. During her time there she also began the course of study for an associates degree in Fashion Design at Houston Community College where she specialized in textiles and jewelry design.
Currently based in Los Angeles, California Andrea’s greatest passion is to be involved in a process that is delicate and artisan, personal and one of a kind- rare in a world of fast fashion and disposable trends.
