Marilena Papadokostantaki was born and raised in Greece in a suburb of Athens.
The first connection to fashion began with retail sales. After completing her basic education, she worked in Greek and multinational clothing store chains as a store manager for almost 15 years.
However, the artistic side has always remained alive. At the same time she was making crafts for decoration, painting, was an assistant director in the theater and was involved in organizing and public relations at live music events.
The passion for creation defeated the ambition for a career in sales. Her mother taught her to crocheting when she was 6 years old, just like she was taught by her mother, and the story begins many years before. In 2014 she decided to merge family tradition with fashion.
The result is called Nitho
