Media and television have created an oblivious mass audience towards their recent past, who just consists of an image and just keeps abreast of the last 24 hours. Through the TV broadcastings, they effaced our feeling of unity, discharged all the values that we have and eventually we lost our identity. The “TV dish” in our life became the most obvious sign of the culture decease. This perception management deprives us of our identities, while entertaining us. In this collection for NIAN, Buruk represents loss of identity and the people whose identities are taken with the color black. Black stands as a uniting color of people with no individual identity. On the other hand, the real and hidden identities which define us can be seen in collection forms, in the very small details, in back linings and patterns. the identity lost is represented by the designer interior details.

Nasreddin Hodja was born in Anatolia in the 13th century, has been praised in many different countries and acclaimed his name for centuries. He has been the "voice and conscience of the people". The people have been raising their voice against the potent class in their darkest hour, in their desperate times. Nihan Buruk, staying loyal to the satirical forms defined by Hodja, selects to set her discourse on this satire tradition. She uses Hodja's way to stand agains the potents in these dark and gloomy times.
