NADIAMARI

Since 1996 Nadia Mari, has worked as a fashion designer for important companies such as: Prada (pellettieri d’Italia), Valentino, Gai Mattiolo, Byblos. Escada. At the beginning Nadia started as an accessories designer but, during the years she matured a significant expertise in each production phase. In a short period of time she covered higher areas of responsibility until she became directly responsible for licensed brands.

It’s in 2006 that Nadia Mari started thinking of doing something on her own. While still working as a consultant for Byblos, she started to produce and sell some “wearing accessories” on her own. Using silk and precious materials, she created a small collection that suddenly reached a good success. Her first collection, NADIAMARI SS09 was distributed only in selected shops around Italy and she realizes that’s time for a bigger step.

The start-up NADIAMARI is supported by Nadia’s partner, Giulio Fasano, an entrepreneur and talent scout that, after a significant experience matured in the music and entertainment fields working with all major Italian singers and promoters, founded SETA, a management art projects consulting company. SETA handles the NADIAMARI project both from a financial and organization stand point. After just two collections NADIAMARI, with the help of Breramode, a showroom based in Milan, starts to sell outside of Italy.

From their headoffice in the heart of Rome, Nadia Mari and her staff coordinate the production that is distributed only in selected shops throughout Italy, France, Germany, Japan, Saudi Arabia, always following the first artist’s intuition: one-of-a-kind pieces, made of precious vintage materials, all made in Italy with a special accent on high quality in production.
