N Palmer explores repurposing vintage fabrics through innovative textile techniques and contemporary design.

Nicholas Palmer, a graduate of the Central Saint Martins’ MA Fashion Programme, launched his eponymous brand in the spring of 2021. In his designs, he pays exceptional attention to an understanding of construction and to the history of the vintage pieces he uses within his garments. Palmer's vision for creating stylish, fashion-forward menswear, together with his appreciation of the history of fashion and of the opportunities afforded by new construction technologies, is what deeply inspires him to design.

Latest Collection

Collection 3

Collection 3 draws from Palmer’s imagined perception of American western clothing vs. classic English dressing. As a rumination on his own personal history of growing up in the Midwest in Indiana and now living in London, the collection leans into the mythology of “country” in two different settings, the US and the UK.

Americana themes run throughout the collection with patchwork, and western-style shirts link to Palmer’s personal experiences and others’ perception that he was raised in the rural “country” in Indiana. This contrasts with more formal garments, which use draping scarves and ruffled collars; these are Palmer’s imagined takes on classic English dressing for the countryside in the UK.
