Mukashi Mukashi

MUKASHI MUKASHI means 'once upon a time' in Japanese. Every collection is a new story to tell. Brand was founded by Lithuanian designer Birutė Mažeikaitė, who based her brand in Berlin after finishing fashion design and pattern making at ESMOD Berlin University. She graduated at a top of her year by winning 'Prix Du Jury' and 'Best Pattern Making / Draping' awards. Birutė Mažeikaitė loves graphic fabric manipulations and streetstyle, which led her to develop unique personal style.
Following her graduation she became finalist at prestigious International Talent Support Contest in two categories: ITS Artwork 2016 and ITS Fashion 2016. In 2017 MUKASHI MUKASHI won Fashionclash Fashion Makes Sense Award. This prize came with sponsorship of production of 'Animus' collection as well as opportunity to present it in Fashionclash Festival 2018.
At the moment new ready-to-wear collection is in the making.
