Andreea Mogosanu started the jewellery business in 2013, after more than a decade committed to academic art studies and master courses. Shortly after the launch of the first complex jewellery collection, MOOGU – Contemporary Jewellery by Andreea Mogosanu became one of the favourite brands of fashion editors, stylists, key opinion leaders, as well as women in search of accessories able to differentiate them and tell a story. The unique ability to connect with people and to create meaningful and significant pieces of wearable art, inspired by nature, organic forms and daily visual experiences or emotions, underlies MOOGU's driving force and its core values. MOOGU designs carries the influences of Scandinavian aesthetics refined through Andreea Mogosanu's creative filter: from natural forms, accurate shapes and graceful lines, to beautiful, simple and clean pieces, surprising but yet affordable and wearable. Since 2013 until now, MOOGU grew into a consistent, competitive, inspirational and respected brand, a fusion of functional minimalism and groundbreaking art, reflecting the hidden beauty of the urban world.

THE COLLECTIONS

From persplex, silver and metal used in MOOGU's first collection of functional jewellery – Flux – or wood (natural essences), concrete, leather, natural coral (Metrya, Extreme Love, Re:Red) to custom made engagement and wedding rings made of 14k white, rose or yellow gold, adorned with special combinations of rare colored diamonds and gemstones (ruby, sapphire, emerald, amethyst, aquamarine etc), Andreea Mogosanu gradually developed her manufacturing skills, according to her creative vision, and commited herself to establish an unique and innovative label, with a strong aesthetic appeal.
Therefore, Andreea Mogosanu aimes to bring women and men the undisputed flavour of contemporary jewellery (seasonal conceptual collections – Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter) and the refinement and elegance of her fine jewellery collection (permanent line and custom-made designs). As a consequence of her expertise and repuation acquired over the years, Andreea Mogosanu frequently responds to major special projects initiated by Romanian designers, concept-stores and cultural platforms: capsule collections for Romanian Design Week (2014, 2015), “Marine Sailing” men cufflinks capsule collection created for The Urban Ties boutique (2014), thematic collection – message jewellery - created for “Skin Deep” fashion brand (2015). MOOGU also participates every year at International Jewellery and Fashion Fairs like: Inhorgenta, International Jewellery London, Pure London, Sieraad, Bride Show Abu Dhabi and Pure Shanghai.
